More time spent in Bhubaneswar in the state of Orissa. It's been a long time since I've seen Nicole, but my resulting poor mood hardly seems newsworthy.

I should have saved some newspapers. Some of the more interesting stories: new fashions for Muslim girls who are required to take swimming classes in school-the "burq-ini" based on the traditional burqha is all the rage. Also several stories related to curses, magic and shamans. And one (that made international news I think) about a 15-year-old boy who performed an illegal c-section operation at a local hospital. Weird stuff.
